ABOUT NITETIME.NET / 001
Independent broadcasting
for an entirely new era.
Art for your space. Music for your time. Masters of space and time.
01 / THE IDEA
A different kind of media company.
There was a time when turning on a station late at night could lead somewhere unexpected: a forgotten science fiction film, a strange cartoon, a local personality, an experimental music program. Stations had identities. Someone was running the place, and you could feel it.
The internet should have made that creative independence easier to find. NITETIME.NET is building a network with the personality of classic American television, the freedom of the early web, and the production possibilities of modern tools.
Nostalgia is a starting point. The operation behind the screen is current, original, and still growing.
02 / THE NETWORK
An actual broadcasting operation.
More than a page of videos: connected services with programming, presentation, and delivery systems of their own.
Live television ↗
The continuous broadcast, presented through the station's live channel.
02 / LISTENInternet radio ↗
The same broadcast tuned for audio, with live Now Playing information.
03 / EXPLOREVideo archive ↗
On demand programming and a growing collection of work.
04 / HEAROriginal music ↗
Electronic music, experiments, soundtracks, and station sounds.
03 / THE DIRECTION
Original programming. Original music. Original technology.
Our creative direction moves between science fiction, retrofuturism, animation, independent filmmaking, electronic music, and unconventional storytelling. We are developing station personalities and recurring features alongside a growing music catalog.
Custom software, open source infrastructure, and assisted production tools help a small team carry work that once demanded much larger facilities. Creative direction remains human; automation handles repeatable operations.
